Christmas 2009 was definitely an adventure! We flew from Bakersfield to Washington with an infant to visit both of our families. I was very nervous thinking about our flight home, but Parker did amazing. He slept the whole way there and had a small, 10minute crying episode on the way home. Oh the poor guy next to us. He sure picked the wrong seat to sit in..luckily he had headphones.
Our family loved having Parker around. I could just see a sparkle in all the grandparents eyes as they changed diapers and rocked him to sleep. They all had permanent smiles on their faces when they played with him....funny faces and silly baby talk was a must. They even loved the sound of him crying at night...thank goodness someone does. I would wake up in the morning looking for him, and grandpa Steve would have Parker snuggling in bed with him. Too bad they don't always get to have these precious moments with their new grandson.
