After living in California for over two years, we finally made it to one of the most amazing places on earth....Yosemitie National Park. Michael has told me all his amazing memories that were created during the annual Fischback Yosemite trip. I just knew that I had to see this place for myself and how awesome would it be to tell Parker that his first big trip was to Yosemite. So, we packed up the Taho and headed towards the mountains. And boy did we pack a lot of stuff. Life definately changes once you have a baby.....strollers, car seat, portable crib, breast pump, bottles, diapers, you get the picture.
We arrived at our quaint little hotel and realized that we were far away from home. There was no tv, telephone, cell service, you know, the type of place you go to get away from things….such as screaming babies. Parker decided that he was going to have a fussy night for the first time ever in our small little hotel room with paper thin walls. So our brilliant solution was to freeze our buns off while pushing him around the parking lot in his stroller until he fell asleep. Our plan eventually worked, and we happily enjoyed a cocktail and appetizers at the lodge’s piano lounge. It turned out to be a lovely evening minus the screaming infant.
Parker loved hiking in his baby sling strapped to dad, but wasn't too impressed with the extreme offroading stroller experience.
